Medicamentum pharmaceuticum, etiam appellatum medicamentum, medicina, medicamen, et remedium, est quaelibet substantia chemica ad usum in diagnosi medica, curatione, therapia, et prohibitione morborum cogitata.[1][2]

- Ordo mundi sanitarius omnia substantia cum effectu in organismo in Systemate classificationis Anatomico Therapeutico Chemicoque Codex ATC rettulit. In altissimo gradu variae regiones anatomicae reperiuntur. In proximis gradibus aspectus therapeutici et pharmacologici spectantur.
